How to make an origami triangular cylinder. The deployment of a cylinder based on origami with kresling pattern whose basic mechanisms are formed by the buckling of a thin cylindrical shell under torsional loading is studied in this paper. The unique properties of this structure have been discussed in literature 29 63 64 however to the best of the author s knowledge it has not previously been fabricated from composite materials.
